Gospel-Driven Reading Recommendation: Luther’s Commentary on Galatians

The Gospel, Luther writes, can never be taught, urged and repeated enough.

Luther's Commentary on Galatians

Luther’s commentary on Galatians is a veritable Gospel feast. It drips Gospel on every page. John Bunyan, commenting on Luther’s Commentary on Galatians, wrote, “I do prefer this book…excepting the whole Bible, before all books I have seen.” After reading this work, one will be of the same opinion as Bunyan. For those who desire to to grow in a deeper understanding of the Gospel, Luther’s Commentary on Galatians is a must read.

  1. Richard Says:

Amen to that, John! I especially recommend the introduction–what a Gospel feast! As I was going through “The Purpose Driven Life” in our men’s Bible study–I washed my mind out first with Luther’s work. What an antidote to what currently passes for evangelical preaching and writing!
    Blessings to your ministry,
    Richard
