Last week, I had the privilege to meet with a good friend of mine, Brad Phillips, the Founder and President of the Persecution Project Foundation.
The PPF was founded for the express purpose of collecting and disseminating information about the worldwide incidence of Christian persecution, with particular focus on Africa. Brad’s first-hand accounts of the level of violence and persecution of Christians in countries like Sudan and most recently the political violence in Kenya were chilling and heartbreaking.
Peter Cockrell has a helpful post today concerning the plight of the persecuted church, 250 Million Persecuted in 2007?!?!
My time spent with Brad and Peter’s post today are both potent reminders for all of us to remember to pray for our suffering brothers and sisters around the world.
